The Crochet Dork

I hate it when a crochet pattern jumps from one stitch to another and I’m stuck in the routine of doing the first stitch, so I continue doing it on accident. -__- 

My pattern jumped from the single crochet, to the half-double crochet, and I keep doing the single crochet. I literally have to take every single stitch out after I do it because I keep doing the wrong one.
