This is the Link hat my friend commissioned, I took some liberties with the detailing, and I think it came out pretty nice.
Dalek beanie with and without extermination options. Very please with how this came out not what I started out making but glad that it shaped this way. Now to figure out how to make a golden snitch hat.

Kirby!!!!!
Loki isn’t as excited to go on an adventure and being heroes as I am.
LSP hat I made for my sister. You can roll up the rim (but you won’t win anything) or just wear it baggy. Although it probably won’t be worn for a while because ITS BASICALLY SUMMER. (Ignoring the past few days of extreme coldness and rain)
By Homemade Gifts and Crochet on Facebook. She sells these. I may have to get a Sonic one.

All my Jedis and Jedettes- you guys ready for the fourth? I am- got my Leia Organa cinnamon rolls ready to go.
Easy peasy. Really- so simple I blush. Can you work in the round? Can you Double crochet? can you Single crochet? You can make this- probably in about an hour all told. It only took me about three hours total to work out my little pattern, and I was monitoring dinner at the same time.
Stitches used- Double Crochet(DC), Single Crochet(SC), Single Crochet 2 Together(SC2tog) Double Crochet Back Post.(DCBP)[http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/how-to-work-backpost-doublecrochet-stitches.html]
Crochet Leia buns. All terms American. I used Red Heart With Love yarn in Chocolate with an I hook (5.5mm) You probably use any worsted yarn, maybe even a bulky yarn but it may come out huge. This is a pattern for my big ol’ adult head.
Rolls- make 2!
Start with magic circle
Round 1: 10 DC in center ring
Round 2: 2 DC in each stitch (20 stitches)
Round 3: *2 DC in first stitch, 1 DC in next, repeat from * for 30 stitches
Round 4: *2DC in first stitch, 1 DC in next two stitches, repeat from * for 40 stitches.
Round 5 *2 DC in first stitch, 1 DC in next three stitches, repeat from * for 50 stitches.
Round 6: *2DC in first stitch 1 DC in next four stitches, repeat from *for 60 stitches.
Round 7(decreases start here, and we’re switching from Dc’s to Sc’s) *SC in first 4 stitches, SC2tog in next- repeat from * decrease to 50 stitches
Round 8: *SC in first 3 stitches, SC2tog in next, repeat from*, decrease to 40 stitches
Round 9: *SC in first 2, SC2tog in next, repeat- 30 stitches
Round 10 * SC in first stitch, SC2tog in next, repeat 20 stitches.
Fin!
Now the head band-y part. Chain enough to comfortably encircle your skull. It took me a chain of 64, your mileage may vary(And I swear to you it does not matter- this is crochet for dumb babies. It’s really easy) I did mine with DCBP(double crochet back post only- but hey, this is a free country man. You make the headband you want to make. I would recommend avoiding lacy styles, You’re going to end up stuffing your buns a little to get them to stand out, so keep it sort of a solid band
Chain 64.
Join to first chain with slip stitch.
Chain three- DCBP into every stitch, join at beginning with slip stitch.
Chain three-= DCBP into every stitch, join at beginning with slip stitch. Repeat until your .head band is the thickness you desire. I went five rounds, follow your bliss man…
Then lightly stuff your buns(I used a bit of batting cotton) and sew onto your head band! I found it was a little easier if I put the head band on first, marked where my ears were with a row marker, then sewed those suckers on. Kept them whgere I wanted. Plus, right over the ears like that will make them lovely and warm come next winter- heck I’ll pair them with a cheap white dress for the easiest Princess Leia costume evah!
Yoda Beanie, made at the request of a friend with just the ears. May make a 2nd with the facial features.
Depending on interest, this may be the first of four Hogwarts ridiculously slouchy beanies. So it’s important for you to let me know if you want one from a different house!
